Effects on the Horn of Africa
The Horn of Africa, located in the East, is a generally undeveloped area consisting of nine countries: Djibouti, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan, Somalia, Uganda and Eritrea. African Innovation believes it can help facilitate these countries in a variety of ways.
Potential Growth Opportunities
Although the Horn of Africa is African Innovation's main focus, there is expressed interest in expanding throughout other African countries in the future.
There are still a large number of poverty stricken and underdeveloped countries throughout Africa, specifically in the sub-Saharan. It is African Innovation's desire to continue to make strides towards creating more sustainable livelihoods to a large number of people living in poverty. By expanding in the future, African Innovation will not only have the opportunity to affect more people living in poverty, but also create more opportunities for students and universities to become involved.
